Car key services that come to the car
Everything below happens at your vehicle, driveway, car park, roadside or workplace. Quote agreed on the phone, no call-out fee, and every key tested with you before we leave.
- 24/7 emergency cover
- No call-out fee
- Non-destructive entry
- All makes & key types
Car lockouts
Keys shut inside, boot locked with the engine running, or a door that will not release, we open cars without drilling, forcing or breaking glass, then check the lock still works properly before we leave.
Lost car keys
One key gone missing is not a main-dealer job. We identify the exact key from your registration, cut a fresh blade, program it to your immobiliser and delete the missing key so it can never start the car again.
All keys lost
No key at all is the job dealers charge most for and take longest over. We do it where the car sits: open it without damage, read the immobiliser, cut a fresh key and hand you a working vehicle the same visit.
Spare keys
A spare is the cheapest key you will ever buy. Booked in advance, at your home or workplace, cut and coded while you get on with your day, and far less than an all-keys-lost call-out on a wet Sunday night.
Fob repair
A fob that only works pressed against the door usually needs a repair, not a replacement. We rebuild cases, replace buttons and membranes, dry out water-damaged boards and re-sync remotes at your car.
Smart & keyless
Keyless entry and push-to-start systems need dealer-level diagnostics, not a key-cutting machine in a shop. Our vans carry the kit and the blanks to add, replace or reprogram smart keys where your car is parked.
The situations we get called to most
If your problem is on this list, it is a routine job for us, usually sorted in a single visit.
- Keys locked inside the car
- Key snapped in the lock or ignition
- Key stolen or lost on a night out
- Fob stopped working after a battery change
- Only one key left and no spare
- Second-hand car bought with a single key
- Keys posted through the wrong letterbox
- Boot locked with the engine running

Before you book
The things drivers ask us most often about mobile key work.
How much does a replacement car key cost?
It depends on your make, model and key type, but you always get a quote agreed before any work starts. No call-out fee, and if we cannot sort it there is no charge at all.
I've lost all my car keys, can you still help?
Yes. We cut and program a fresh key on your driveway and wipe the lost keys from the immobiliser, so there is no main-dealer recovery and no long wait.
Do you cover keyless and push-to-start keys?
Yes. Smart keys, proximity fobs and keyless push-to-start systems, as well as traditional blade keys and remotes, on almost every car on UK roads.
How quickly can you reach me?
Average response is around 30 to 45 minutes, often sooner in town. We are on call 24 hours a day, including weekends and bank holidays.
Need a car key sorted today?
One call, a clear quote and a fully-tooled locksmith on the way. No call-out fee, 24 hours a day.
