• Your name, phone number and email address, so we can quote and confirm your job.
• Your postcode or the location of the vehicle, so we can send the nearest van.
• Vehicle make, model, year and registration, so we identify the right key and immobiliser system.
• What you tell us about the job, including notes, timing and urgency.
• Booking date and time slot when you book online.
• The page you enquired from, so we know which area or airport page you used.
• Basic technical data such as your browser type and pages viewed, if you accept analytics cookies.

We do not ask for card details on this site, and we do not collect special category data. Please do not send us documents you were not asked for.

• To quote, attend and complete the work you asked for: performance of a contract, or steps taken before entering one.
• To contact you about your enquiry or booking, including confirmation messages: contract and legitimate interests.
• To keep records of jobs, quotes and proof of ownership checks: legal obligation and legitimate interests.
• To measure which pages produce calls and bookings: consent, through the cookie banner.

Before we open a vehicle or produce a key, we check that the vehicle is yours. That means seeing identification and paperwork such as a V5C, insurance or hire agreement. We record that a check was made and what was shown, because it protects you and every other vehicle owner.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with suppliers who help us run the service, under contract and on our instructions:

• Our hosting and database provider, which stores enquiries and bookings.
• Our email provider, which sends your confirmation and our internal notification.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads, only if you accept analytics cookies. This measures which adverts and searches lead to enquiries, calls and bookings, and helps Google show our adverts to people looking for the same help.
• Google Ads also receives the phone number of a call that became a job, but only where you have been told about it and agreed, so we can see which adverts bring real work. How Google uses data is explained at https://business.safety.google/privacy/.
• Professional advisers, insurers or authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.

• Enquiries that do not become jobs: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Completed jobs, including proof of ownership records: 6 years, for insurance, tax and dispute purposes.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it to be transferred, and withdraw consent for analytics at any time by choosing essential only in the cookie notice. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Enquiries and bookings are stored in an access controlled database. Only staff who need the details to do the job can see them, and calls and messages are handled by the same small team that attends the work.
