Mobile auto locksmiths, not a call centre
KeyFast Locksmiths Ltd is a small crew of auto locksmiths running our own vans across three areas, backed by a trusted nationwide network of vetted local auto locksmiths. You speak to the people who turn up, and the person quoting you knows exactly how far away the van is.
- Nationwide UK coverage
- Open 24 hours, 7 days a week
- Clear quote quotes
- Tested with you
Built around one frustration
Losing a car key used to mean a recovery truck, a dealer booking and a week without a vehicle.
We started KeyFast because the same jobs kept coming through: a driver quoted hundreds for a replacement key, plus recovery, plus a wait of a week or more. The work itself takes under an hour with the right equipment, the delay and the mark-up were the only real problems.
So we put the equipment in vans instead of a workshop. Keys are cut and coded where your car is standing, immobiliser data is read from the vehicle itself, and the lost keys are wiped before we leave. Nothing gets recovered anywhere and nothing gets ordered in for most jobs.
Today we run out of Chester, Edinburgh and Southend-on-Sea and cover roughly a 30-mile radius of each area, round the clock. The promise is the same in all three: a clear quote on the phone, no call-out fee, and no damage to your car.
What every job includes
- Registration-based quote before a van moves
- ID and ownership checked on arrival
- Non-destructive entry, no drilling or broken glass
- Keys cut and coded on site, tested with you
- Lost keys deleted from the immobiliser
- Emailed receipt and keys tested with you
Six things we will not compromise on
These are the rules the crew works to, on every single call-out.
Price first, work second
We quote before we travel, and that price does not change at the kerbside.
Nothing gets broken
Entry is non-destructive. Drilling a lock is a last resort we discuss with you first.
Proof of ownership always
We check ID and paperwork on every job. It is what makes us safe to call.
Tested with you
Every key cut, coded and fitted is tested with you on site before we leave.
Real 24/7
Nights, weekends and bank holidays at the same price as a weekday.
Kit that keeps up
Diagnostic and programming equipment updated for current smart key systems.
